How I did it: Well I've wanted a tarantula since I was like 10. *thus the 8 years*. So on Tuesday I went to the pet store and played with a beautiful rosehair they have, and fell in love. So Friday I went back and bought her.
she's beautiful, and calm, and she's 5 years old.
Her name is Morgana. I'm so happy I finally have my tarantula!!! =]

    i love spiders. all arachnids, really. and i have had two marvelous pet tarantulas in the past who have sinced passed away… i am wanting to get another pinktoe tarantula and name this one plath – in honor of sylvia plath, as well as in memoriam to my first tarantula, who i named sylvia. i’m hoping i’ll be able to afford to do this later on in the year… or just convince somebody to get me one as a winter solstice gift.
