Well I still need to try different styles more often, but apart from that I don’t think I can do anything about my hair being flat and thin.
And anyway, its not like that on the days I wash it as its thick enough then, so being happy with it every other day isn’t bad going I guess.
I think what I shall do is call this done and accept I should learn to love it the way it is.

A couple of days ago I tried leaving plaits in whilst my hair dried and it sort of worked, one side looked ok, the other was plaited too small and just went frizzy. When I went out and got caught by the rain it just flattened again. So even though it sort of worked, the time and effort of doing the plaits and taking them out again the next day wasn’t worth how long the waves actually lasted.
Today I had my hair cut. Just a trim and tidy up really, but I’m much happier now my fringe is out of my eyes. I did ask for layers though, but, to be honest, I can’t tell they’re there, it certainaly doesn’t look thicker. Never mind, will go back to research more ideas on how to do that.

After some research, a few things I am thinking about doing are;
- Getting my hair trimmed by a couple of inches and have some layers added to stop it looking so thin/fine/greasy etc
- Using some volumising or thickening serum/ mousse/ spray to also hopefully achieve the above result. I have tried shampoos and conditioners before but with no luck so I thought maybe something you put on your hair after its washed might help.
- I am not doing so well with the doing more styling. Next time I wash it I am going to plait it whilst still wet and leave to dry to try and get some natural looking waves into it. I may also get my Mum to plait it for me to see how I like that (I have tried to do it myself but it never looks right).
The other thing I can’t decide on is whether to change my hair colour or not. It’s currently red which I love because it’s bright and stands out. However it also means I can’t wear certain colours of clothes or they clash, and it fades quickly too. If I had a sort of dark aurburn or something it would solve those issues but I feel like it won’t look as different.

I basically don’t have a huge problem with my hair, I just don’t love it.
A few sub goals for this include;
- Try and find a style I like and get it cut.
- Do more with it as I only ever have it down or in a ponytail (I have a set of straighteners and a set of styling tongs – both given, and I can’t use either!).
- Research ways to stop it getting greasey so quickly (I need to wash it every other day and those shampoos don’t work for me!).
Anyone who has had similar issues and found ways of solving are welcome to comment (please do).

I have super curly hair and it used to be unmanageable. Now, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Once I learned how to take care of my hair I became happy with it. Now, I try to do a different hairstyle each day.
I’m lucky that I can do that. Not the same old boring, flat tresses.
Besides I am blessed with the capability of having it curly, wavy or straight {with the help of a flat iron}.

but the thing is, in the summer I am generally much happier and have more self-esteem. It’s now that school is starting and being around a lot of low self-esteem kids who like to put down everyone around them and also being around the other teachers/staff who are all depressed…that is what does me in. But school is starting so I will give it another try! It is yet another year.

I hate my hair. Dreadfully.I feel that if my hair isn’t nice, I will never be comfortable with myself. I know this is not true, but I cant help, but think it! It is medium length, puffy, and brown. I found a haistyle in a magazine that is:
thinner,stylish,brown,blonde,black, and cool.
I really like it. It doesnt seem like it takes much effort in the morning besides combing it and gelling it a little bit.
I made an appointment at Magicuts for Monday at 10:00. I’m going to get my hair done then. Hopefully I will like it, since
I haven’t got a haircut since like last summer.
