I’m on probation for this semester because I never really had to study in high school and fall semester freshman year was easy. Last semester got harder and this semester, with orgo, I’m just trying to get by with my grades. I know I can do this though, gotta keep that full scholarship.
How to keep my scholarship
How I did it: I worked very hard. You have to stay focused and motivated. Having good time management and keeping your priorities straight are also necessary. You can still go out with your friends... just don't do it so often to where you're just plain exhausted and don't have the energy to do what needs to be done... school work.
In the end, it will be worth it.

I just graduated college, and though the scholarship I had (a full ride) called for a 3.7 GPA, I maintained a 4.0 and graduated summa cum laude. It wasn’t too hard, either. The trick is priorities. There will always be time for parties and drinks on Friday and Saturday nights- but on a Tuesday night? Wow, I’m happy that all the studying paid off.
so this goal is to basically is to keep my entrance scholarship from the university, but i also want to keep the one i got from tim hortans, so that means keeping my job.. should be easy. and i just found out two days ago that ive recieve ANOTHER one from my dads work:) woo!!

I didn’t give up;
they give up ;/
but I’ll get it back as soon as possible :]
i just got my midterm grade report and i have three A’s and two B’s which gives me a gpa of 3.69. if i change one of the B’s (an 88) to an A, ill have a 3.81. thus (3.81+3.25)/2>3.50!!
im gettin’ there!
last semester i was having a horrible time with my long distance boyfriend and didnt do well in school. well i got a 3.25 but my average needs to be 3.50. that means (with my awesome math skills) that i need a 3.75 this semester. i WANT to do it and i NEED to do it but i keep putting everything off and have no motivation.
boys distract me..

Some things just don’t work out. Luckily, I gained the Pell Grant and another scholarship with less stringent requirements, so I don’t even need it. Takes the sting out a bit.
and that sucks really, really bad.
failed two of my philos exams, and one bio exam. soo, there is no way I can get my scholarship.
BUT!!! its not too bad. Just found out this week that I have a new pell grant, which refunded me $2900 (my current scholarship is only $1000) so, its all good for next year.
I’m on probation for my scholarship right now, because I got a 3.4 and I needed a 3.5. SOO, I need a really high GPA right now, but I just failed my philosophy exam. So, I think I’m pretty much screwed.
if I get like a c in one class, can an A in all my others cancel that out to get a higher GPA?
I can’t do math.
