Find a job by Febuary 14th

It didn’t happen by the 14th.

Hopefully I’ll find one soon though!

Guess I have to change this goal to “Find a Job”!

“Thank you for your time and interest in interviewing for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Office of Employee Relations. We regret to inform you that you were not selected to continue in the selection process.”

::sigh:: Oh well…there’s something better out there for me…

Today was the 3rd and final step in my interview process for the job at the city. I had a computer test on MicroSoft Word. I think it went pretty well.
So…now I just wait for the call to let me know if I got the job or not.
Out of 300 applicants…it’s down to just 3 of us. Each of us waiting for that call…

You know though…if I don’t get this job…that just means there is something else out there better for me!

The interview went…alright. Not great…just o.k.
The girls that interview me didn’t hardly talk…didn’t smile…and barely looked at me because they were taking notes the entire time. That made me really nervous.

Well…this afternoon they called me back for a second interview for Monday afternoon! Wow! That was really fast! I can’t believe it!

So here I go again…I’m nervous and excited, but it’s yet another step in the right direction!!

I’ll let you know how I do on Monday!

I’ve got an interview tomorrow morning for the City of San Jose! I’m hoping it goes well. It would be a really great job!
Keep your fingers crossed for me!!

with the employer I’m with now and it ends on February 14th (yes…valentines day!). I was just informed today that they will not be able to extend my contract or hire me as a regular employee after my contract is up.

So now I need to find another job!!

I get paid pretty well where I am now so it’s going to be kinda difficult to find a good job with close to the same pay.
And the worst part…I really like the job I have right now…
