replace the kitchen window with a door to the garden

Maybe the next people owning this apartment have the time and money to invest in this. I don’t think that we will be doing it ourselves. Too much hassle and the money we’d spend would probably not come in with the sales price. And: climbing through windows is fun and keeps you fit!

I know this isn’t meant to be taken literally, but what if I can???

There is no door.
We have lived with our beloved garden for two seasons now, but without a door towards it. We’ve been climbing through the kitchen window.
So the plan is to replace it with a door.
