Stop saying yes to things I have no time for

I joined another committee! Then I agreed to chair another project! What is wrong with me??

I didn’t agree to any new projects this past week, but I’m still facing a steep backlog. It’s a little de-motivating.

that I have more opportunities than time. There are so many things I could do, but I have to stop disappointing people by agreeing to do things that, if I think for just two seconds, I know I’ll never find the time to do.

Not that most of these things wouldn’t be worthwhile, but it definitely isn’t worthwhile to damage the other person’s goodwill toward me.

I guess a corollary goal should be to forgive those who don’t come through for me.
