How I did it: I had a mentor for a project that we had to do senior year, which was to accomplish a task. I decided on photography. He taught me the concepts of emotion, focal points, resting areas, and angle perception.
Lessons & tips: Take a picture of your backyard. Then try to crop the picture in 5 ways to make a good composed photo.
Lock yourself in your bathroom and try to come out with 20 pictures, with different feels. Difficult, but worth it.
LEARN HOW TO MASTER A PHOTO-MANIPULATION TOOL LIKE PHOTOSHOP: IT WILL HELP YOU AND WILL MAKE YOUR PHOTOS 10X BETTER!
Resources: My amazing mentor.

I want to capture the special moments. I dont want any of those horrible teenage photos where they pose and stand in unnatural positions with make up and what not, I want these pictures to capture beautiful memories of friends and family that I can treasure forever.
