My husbands car is a Honda Civic Wagon, and every time the Nissan breaks down (ironically, there is a ten year difference between the two cars, but the Honda has held up without issue since we got him) I’m left without a car, on the mercy of Marcos and other loved ones to drive me around. Well, times are going to change.

I’ve always wanted to know how to do this… I’m embarrassed when I go to Europe and everyone drives manual there, and I have no idea how to do it. I will learn this from my friend Nigel in the next few weeks hopefully. I want to have useful skills like this one in my toolbox because you never know!
Continuing to collect, experiences and knowledge,
Katie

it’s sensible and practical. skydiving, not so much. my friend’s father took her to a car dealer when she was 16, bought a stick shift car, and told her to figure out how to get herself home.

I think it would come in handy. Plus it is really sexy!

Boyfriend is currently teaching me… I get so frustrated though but it’d be so sexy to drive a stick shift! Ah, I need more time to learn!

I just gave up. Now I could care less about driving a stick shift. Lol. I’ll stick with driving an automatic transmission.
