so over the conflicts just wanna mellow dont want to do much with my life-im not stupid either i just feel that people are too busy complicvating their lives by focusing only on their education, their career and what others opinions of them are!

This world needs to relax to experience culture and foreign experiences.

I’ve been living my life by the “hippie” lifestyle not knowing that it has a name I support everybody who is trying to live there life by peace and love trust me its the way to go I used to be a gang banger and been locked up but man I swear I’m never going back

Being a hippie to me is about caring about the world outside your little materialistic life. And though its associated with 60s and 70s, the post modern hippie of today have even realer and tougher issues to battle! Climate change, imbalance of wealth, diseases in the 3rd world, extreme consumerism. I’m getting married to a like-minded hippie like myself and I wanna start a new hippie movement this 21st century!

I just believe in LOVE. Why have all the HATE in the world, why do we fight, why do we kill, why all the negativity? Why all the harshness, politics, war, and indifference… Be gentle, smile, make someone’s day! If someone needs help, then help them if you can. Share a genuine love with the world. Doesn’t mean you have to smoke weed, eat acid, and whatever else. I don’t. It’s just who I am; my feeling of LOVE and acceptance of all sentient beings. :) I guess that’s about it. I just want to be surrounded by good vibes 24/7! “Harness the good, block out the bad.” (happy gilmore) lol. I don’t understand how so many people can be downright mean and self-centered, yuck. Is there a place where “happy” people like me exist? Probably not too many : (

Back in the late 60’s and early 70’s I lived a version of this. College student, draft protestor, long hair, bell-bottoms, psychedelia, shrooms,peyote, tai stick, columbian,oaxacan, mexican dirtweed, wine , women, and song!!! Although I have no regrets and many wonderful memories, I would not do it again.
