How I did it: Went to Cusco, Peru with some of my friends during March Break.

 Since we were staying for a short period of time, we could only volunteer at the children's school for one day, where we played twister with them and organized board games.
The children were lovely but it was difficult to communicate, since we had no spanish skills : (

    I’ve wanted to do this since I was pretty much about 12 years old. Ideally I want to go to India for summmer break next year. I’m almost 19 and I’m ready to save up for the trip and have an experience all my own. I’m already searching possible organizations to go with and deciding on the length of time I was to go. If I find any good websites with cheap trips I’ll let everyone know.

    You know… it cost tooo much money to volunteer, I wish to belong to something, a group or something, something that helps people in need, I want the nerve to give upi all my worlly possesions and leave Canada to spend my life helping others, maybe meet a man who wants the same things !!! Have kids… who knows !
