Ohh that boy I so dearly love once again… He asked me the most amazing question of my life so far…
“What is more important to you, the moment or the future?”
Not verbatim, but the general idea. Before I met him I never saw the severity of this question. The moment could be great, but what if the future sucks? Or if it doesn’t feel great now but it turns out glorious! My response was…
“Well, I feel that you must have ‘a moment’ for the future to happen, but if it’ll really negatively impact the future, then I choose no.”
...In a nutshell. That moment was pretty intense for me. It felt like a frking movie. It would probably sound dumb to the average person, but that question is just so important. It was pretty much about a future for US. He pretty much said not to think too much about it but I think I made a mistake with that… THE FUTURE IS STILL THERE!<3 4 years ago

I dreamt that something amazing would happen in two weeks. It led to great expectations and an actual efford to make sure something great would happen. and it did, sort of. I wish everyday was like that one. It made me think that I should expect each day to be amazing, give it a chance. it has potencial, you never know.. ;) 4 years ago

I don’t worry that much these days, but as long as I’m living, it’s something to be aware of. I’m living more in the present these days. Sometimes I do get anxious about the future, but then I can pray and do EFT on it. 7 years ago

I’m getting better at doing this….sometimes I am anxious to get to the next step. So, just working on being patient and allowing God to work. 7 years ago

Well this wasn’t worth doing. Time for some prozac. One good thing is that he is up there in age and may not live long. I hope to see an African Pope in the future who (having seen the burden of celibacy amongst African priests) understands that celibacy with the priesthood will not survive unless celibacy is cut as a policy. 8 years ago
