Organize the Craft Area

While the cratfs area is still lokking like a detonation area for the special police squad, the day of organization is getting closer. The evil insurance man has not settled a sum and has recived my bank account no., meaning that the sewing room can soon return to its former glory of being a crafty space.
We’re hoping to get most of the repairs (still some work left on the ceiling, stripping the walls of wallpaper and painting them) done by November.

A water leakage in March, insurance issues, tidying in and out of the room X number of times…The insurance man is coming over this week, and I’m hoping this means we’ll soon get matters settled so we can repaint the room.
I’m hoping to complete this goal by November – that would be such a relief! We have so much stuff currently stashed in the room that it makes me unnerved and restless. I keep imagining how it’ll look when the walls are fixed – I’m thinking a shade of green, keeping the room in creative and energetic colours.

I am slowly but surely making this happen. In July we sawed and painted our old bookcase, giving me place to store some of my crafty stuff. We went to IKEA Tuesday this week, where I bought two large boxes for my fabrics. I’m hoping to have the room organized within a few months, but due to a water leak in March (we’re still waiting for the insurance people to take action) I’m not really motivated as I know that anything I do now will have to be redone later when we paint the room.

on this in the last two weeks. I want to finish before the end of the summer.

obviously, since it has been on my list this long and I haven’t made progress. But yesterday I did haul a box upstairs and get rid of a bunch of stuff. One less box in the way down there.
