I’ve hit the point that I no longer have the time to work on r43 (well, I actually bottomed out on the time/interest curve some time ago). I really don’t want to see r43 rot, so I’d like to recruit a new maintainer.
If you’re interested in taking over a solid little Ruby app, take a look at my blog post, and leave a comment to let me know that you’re interested.

The Ruby Programming Shop has been hard at work on r43, a Ruby library wrapping the 43 Things webservice. All of our hard work has really paid off. The 0.2.0 release of r43 is better designed, better tested, and easier to use.
I’d especially like to thank Sean Carley and Edward Cho who really beat the early code into shape. If anyone is interested in getting involved, we’re going to be working on r43 through the end of August. At that point, we’ll pick a new library to work on.
You can grab your own copy at the r43 page on RubyForge.

There are a team of us working on this now, and things are looking pretty good. Hopefully we’ll cut another alpha this week.
If you want to get involved (as a developer or a user), you should check out The Ruby Programming Shop’s mailing list where we’re doing a lot of our work. (Or you can hop onto the #therps channel at irc.freenode.net.)

r43 is a ruby library that wraps the 43 Things API.
Right now, I’m about 20% done. This week I’ve got another project on my plate, but next week I should be able to get back into it in a big way. I’d like to make a solid Alpha release (0.3) this month, and a Beta release in May.
