I bought a set of 16kg’s, just trying to learn to use them now.

My KB collection continues to grow. I now have a 16, a 24, and two 32KG bells. I love them.
I’m hopefully going to return to judo soon too, the bells can only help!
I’ve heard good things about these. I want to learn how to use them and see if the things are true. I don’t know if I can afford them though and I don’t think that my gym has a set. Still I don’t want to forget that this is something that I want to learn.
I have and 18kg, 2 13kg and one 9lb kettlebell sitting in my livingroom getting dusty. Last fall I purchased the 18kg and just jumped in and started using them with no instruction. I soon injured something around my tail bone area so stopped using them. I am afraid to start using them again. I know I should take a class or get instruction but I have been procastinating do to not wanting to spend the $100 that my local class charges. I’m trying to decide if I should just spend the money and learn how to use them once and for all.
Still working with, and loving kettlebells.
I currently have a 16KG, a 24KG and I’m looking for a 32KG in the very near future.
Kettlebells rock. They might cost a few quid, but they are cheaper than the gym, and unlike the gym, my garden isn’t full of poseurs doing never ending reps on machines to make themselves look pretty.
A hard workout with KB’s would bring most of them to their knees and show them what physical effort is really about…
I love kettlebells and use them regularly.
You should too.
Now I can swing with the best of them! Snatched, clean and jerk, windmills – these are no longer a mystery.
Damn I love this!
I now own a ‘proper’ 16kg Girya. Not one of those odd dragondoor ones. Had a play today, did some swings (two hand and one hand), some cleans, some jerks, a few military presses, and some figure eights around my legs.
It may only be 16Kg, but feels more like a tonne once you get it moving. I suspect I may suffer for it tomorrow…
I like hands-on instruction but haven’t found anyone in Portland, Oregon or the general vicinity (I actually am in Vancouver, Washington), to take classes or help, so anyone in this area want a student?
I’ve got Kettlegrips actually, rather than Kettlebells, but they are basically the same, except I’m having trouble with some movements, and I want to be sure I’m doing things correctly.
