So the first time I heard ATMOSPHERE I was 16 years old, this was back in the day when they played Asheville. Anyways, I was dating a pothead/hiphop head who I really owe a lot to for giving me a musical genre that has since enriched my life so much. On this cd he made me, there were 3 hiphop songs I really liked, which all happened to be ATMOSPHERE. Ever since then, I began a slow evolution into letting ATMOSPHERE become the soundtrack to my soul. Now, I am what most would say totally obssessed; I don’t have to see every show but the lyrics are all imprinted on my brain. I finally saw them live this past month in Chapel Hill, NC, with one of my closest friends and am already fiending for another tour.
