Firstly, thank you all so very much for your kind and lovely wishes and words, honestly it’s incredible.
In spirit everyone of you was there, the whole reason we got to be there was this site really, although I do believe that one way or another we would still have met somehow, some things are just written in the stars so to speak, and I know Speedy knows what I mean by that…
Abs & Cookie put it brilliantly when they said that this medium enables you to get to know someone inside out. It truly does, it shows you the different sides of a person, like a sneak preview of whats to come. I remember the first time I saw Sean, walking towards me at Bristol Airport, I swear to god I thought my heart would stop beating. It was incredible, this person I had got to know so well but had never felt his hand on mine or felt his breath on my cheek, but yet that connection was there, way before those things happened.
yet when we finally met it was so right and so perfect. I hate to say it because it sounds cliched, but I knew right then at that moment.
Anyway, by the end of his first visit, we both knew what we wanted, basically to be together, to not have the goodbyes and the airport pick ups. Well at least to know, that he was coming home when he did get picked up.
So that is basically how we got to Vegas, by knowing without doubt that it was what we both wanted. When you fall in love, I mean totally really fall it just makes perfect sense to you.
The wedding was amazing, it was a matter of getting ourselves to the Court house for a license which we did the night we arrived and then the next day taking a long walk up the strip to the very first chapel we came too, which it turned out was not tacky at all, infact it was rather lovely.
we got married at 7.00pm with Roxi, Sean’s Mom, Dad & brother, Duke & Kristin (Sean’s Friends from LA) in attendance, the service was lovely, even if I did nearly end up with the wrong ring…
Afterwards we went for dinner, which was lovely, and then Sean, myself, Peter, Kristin and Duke rode the rollercoaster at New York New York, which was a blast, the only thing we both wished that Roxi could have joined us for that but God bless her, her feet were so sore, followed by lots of alcohol (until around 6.30am) and then Sean and I went back to the hotel for breakfast and eventually got back to our rooom at 8.30am.
And yes, we spent the WHOLE of the next day in bed.
;)
One last thing…
Love you babe.
