Most of it arrived there, some of it was even undamaged. I didn’t get a return package.

I live in Seattle and can send preserves made from locally-grown fruits, stuff from Pike Place Market and artisan cheeses from Beechers (yumm). I can also send homemade Indian stuff and/or Indian spices. I also know some really good local chocolatiers who make wonderful truffles. I love trying new foodstuff and would love to do a swap.

yay! have just been to kathya’s blog and seen her risoles photos… :) don’t forget to post photos of the pandan cake too!

wooooo, today i finally got the risoles, bacang, kue lapis legit, kerupuk palembang and a few more bits and pieces to bring to germany with me… mudah2an gue bisa nyari boks yg big enough for this purpose.

i checked with the shop and they said it was ok to not refrigerate the bacang and risoles and kue lapis legit for up to 2-3 days, after which it should be consumed right away or refrigerated.

the plan is for me to mail the stuff in berlin from karen’s house, as they might survive the trip better… buset, si kat bisa pesta makanan next week di wiesbaden…

yay! corn dogs and hanutas from kathya arrived last night, yay! i’m going to eat the corn dogs tonight…

oh, and the cool thing is, kathya packed the corn dogs with a frozen gel pack, in a keep-things-cool foil bag, which is how i think i’m going to send my frozen goods to her… gel pack is sitting in my freezer, ready for its next journey…
