LovelyStrife I've got to go; gotta leave you all behind and face the truth!
As a kid, we always had a fish named Spike. We usually had several others who had different names (like Angel, Beazelbub, Captian Nemo, Spot) but there was always one named Spike. I loved him so much… The hardest part is when they die. You just know you’ll never see them again…

He’s a beautiful blue beta named Ghandi. I was looking for a Thai name, but my sister suggested I named him Ghandi and it’s stuck ever since. I love my fish almost more then my boyfriend. :D <3
I want to get an aquarium.
Also, fish are great if you live in apartments. Yes…One fish doesn’t seem like it would be fun. But I’ve grown so attached to my fish.
Taking care of a beta isn’t hard. They are rather low maintenance. Feed them beta food, a few little pellets, and clean and change their tank water with the purified water every two weeks or so.

hjahangiri is reaffirming commitment to her goals.
Few things in life more boring than owning a fish. Maybe a saltwater aquarium full of exotic, tropical fish – but “a fish”? Boring. Unless maybe it’s a four-foot shark. That could be interesting. Or a piranha, but I think that may be illegal in many countries. Fish are harder to care for properly than they ought to be, given how little they’re able to interact with you.
I suppose you get what you pay for (though given what I’ve gotten, I’d be hard-pressed to risk more than $5 to stock the tank).
