This will be my first “thing” done. I will asist to a homoerotic poetry reading. Im so excited.
How to go to a poetry reading
How I did it: I invited a friend because i tend to procastinate. More if i work this day. I dont like to go out friday night. This last year i dont like to go out, punto! Is like a little depression.
I picked up her inmediatly i finish my day, go to dinner and then to the poetry reading. I enjoyed so much!!! One of the poems took my heart and i need it.
Lessons & tips: I can make time if i want and i need it,
I cant write poems but i enjoy them a lot.
Every person needs to stay in contact with a art expression at least once at month.

I haven’t really been working on this goal at all. I am going to check local literary events more carefully, and maybe sign up for an email list of events.

It looks really neat and I got all psyched about going…
But of course it has to be a night I’m busy with classes from 5-10 pm.
The search continues…
Andreya has been pampered in a spa today :)
I really loved it!!
Mainly because it was ‘something artsy’ & you meet all kinds of funky people there!
Depends on the people & the poetry otherwise, too!!
I loved singing at a poetry reading too!! Just loved it!

Last night was heavenly, back at Russo’s poetry group.
I didn’t even get annoyed at this one person whose personality is the one type that has a tendency to push even the nearly always upbeat, cheerful me over the edge.
This group is so eclectic, many ages, multiple ethnicities, a wide variety of styles… and I have met such great people there who have pushed my art up a notch and out a few loops, too.
I read some new stuff, untried, and the response was tremendous. Nothing like hearing poetry read aloud.
And Jen read from Edna St. Vincent Millay - YUMMMMM!!!
I want to do this goal and am going to look up the dates for the next poetry reading at the coffee scene coffee house. This is a goal that I expect to accomplish within the next 7 days!
We meet either at Club Tropicana or The Sentient Bean. Come to Savannah. It’s a small town trying to be a big city. You’ll find us.
We meet weekly here in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Contact me: acutewit@gmail.com if you want details!
