watch every john cusack movie

He’s an amazing actor. Some hits some misses..but even when it’s a miss, he’s so damn cute you don’t really mind.

the grifters. i think that scorcese produced, but did not direct, this movie. it was pretty awesome, but not light-hearted. i spent a lot of time appreciating the female forms in this movie. there were distinct acting modes at play here – at key points a deliberate, false-overacting that was probably designed to reveal the underlying intentions of the characters and the true nature of their relationships. grifters, it seems, are innately deceivers. i’d probably have to watch it twice more to really break it down.

i started with ‘Max’ the other day, which i found at the video store and prior to, did not know it even existed. i much admire this man, and also his taste in movies.

yes i’ve seen ‘good as dead’ and ‘hi fidelity’.
