never, EVER grow up

About two months ago, a colleague on my team was under a lot of stress at work due to an insane project he was commandeering. I had a little M&M guy that I stuck up on my colleague’s cubicle wall, anonymously, just to give him a chuckle. A couple of weeks later, I brought in a little plastic hippo that looked a bit threatening, with its mouth wide open..so I stuck it next to the M&M guy. Then some coworkers noticed and started bringing in small plastic animals, and arranging them in little dramatic scenarios that turned out to be hilarious and all the talk on our floor. We’ve had so much fun with this. The menagerie is still growing. Someone added a dragon that is now eating the rooster. :)

i’ve come to the realization that i’ll never truly be a grown up and i’m so ok with that!

so my roommate and i were walking home from the liquor store the other night and as we walked by a furniture store she remarked about how inviting the grass looked in front of the store as i was picking us some wish flowers. so i immediately laid down and she was right. it felt amazing! she was laughing at me because i was in my pj’s laying down in the grass on a sat night next to one of the busiest streets in town as people drove and walked by at ten pm while carrying a bottle of plum wine. needless to say, i was disappointed when she didn’t lay down with me, i even offered to hold her beer while she did it. oh well, she still made a wish and blew on the flowers with me.

so my boyfriend made dinner and it was so yucky! it looked really pretty but was soooo bland. so we had ice cream and raw cookie dough for dinner instead!

when we got home from walmart and were putting groceries away, my boyfriend asked me if i was the kind of person that had to eat some of the ice cream before i put it away because it’s soft and kinda melted. yes i am! so we ate ice cream while we were putting the groceries away. sigh…a man after my own heart!

while in line at walmart. my boyfriend and i were bored off our asses waiting in line forever to check out. well he decides to hit me with one of his new pillows. there wasn’t an all out fight but we did hit each other a few times while waiting. i told the cashier it was ok to hit my boyfrined when he was ringing the pillows up…but he didn’t :(

while me and my boyfriend were walking through the grocery store tonight we make squeaky noises with our shoes as we walked down the aisles

so instead of just asking my lover to be my boyfriend i took his dry erase marker and wrote “will you be my boyfriend? []yes []no” on the wall of his shower so he would find it when he got home from work. it was just more fun that way :)

i caught a snowflake on my tongue

last night josh and i went to a italian restaurant that puts white paper over the top of the table so you can draw on the table with crayons while you are waiting for your food. it was so much fun!
