”...We don’t stop playing because we get old; we get old because we stop playing”
LyonTamer is taking life one day at a time.
When you stop growing, you become old.
i soooooo dont want to grow up. grown ups are so boring :(

Catie I'm getting sick, I think =/
because it really makes life feel better!
The simpliest things make me smile, and I still freak out when I see planes go overhead. I look for shapes in the clouds, and I make chores fun by playing pretend.(When I vacuum, I’m the evil Vacuum God that scares my mom’s birds. :P When I dust, I’m a french house keeper: accent and all.)
Overall, I love life child-like, and I want to learn and grow, but I don’t want to be boring and stuffy EVER.

I don’t want to be childish, but so many of my old school friends have turned into unbelievably boring ‘grown-ups’ and seem to have taken over their grandparent’s old-fashioned opinions on the day they turned 25.
I fully plan to teach my kids how to make smoke bombs out of kitchen ingredients, like my grandpa showed me. For some reason I seem to be the only adult around who thinks that’s a useful skill to have.
If being grown-up means you can’t climb trees or draw a flower around the lightswitch in the kitchen just because you’ve graduated university some time ago, then I don’t want to grow up.
I walk around all day dressed as peter pan and let children have sleep overs at my house.

It’s inevitable that we grow older, but that doesn’t mean that you have to let the child within wither away. I’m over 40 and have lots of children in my life. I try very hard to keep up with the things that interest them, the music that they listen to. We talk often and do silly things together, just because!
Laura I want to talk about change.
I had to counter balance my decision to keep make a daily routine. For an odd ball reason I got on You Tube last night and started looking up old David C. stuff. Man! One thing I’m sure of, I had a marvelous taste in men and music even back then. I was only about 8 years old too young to even be reading ten magazines, but I was hooked on David from the first episode. I got to thinking about that today. I wonder how I can allow more of my inner child into my life. My imagination was so keen then, my taste well defined. I know this can sound as if I am being sarcastic and truly I am not. I was who I wanted to be without any apologies and the thought that I could grow up and marry the most popular guy in America never occured to me as being absurd. Now that is confidence. I’m going to invite that part of myself back to the forefront.
