be fluent in Latin

WELL! I am a Classics major in my second year of college and I am focusing on Latin—it’s my 6th year taking Latin. I love everything about it, but I really only have a reading understanding of it. I cant speak it, though I’m working on it! This summer I want to do the Latin Letters program with Father Reginald Foster in Rome. Step number 1. Woot Woot!

this remains imperative- if I am ever to master Pike, Evola or any of the greats that I have to understand, I must have a solid grasp on the language of the pre-modern world.

I have my eye on one at halfprice- ugh, it took me long enough to find the one I wanted!!!!

my goal this week is to obtain some type of great phrase book- I have been scouting for a certain dictionary but have yet to find it.
