invite people over more often

yeah . i invited people over for a bbq for a few times but they were liek blah blah i have a job blah blah . very unconvincing.

I am a very nostalgic person . I always keep thinking of the good times …which were last year before I moved . Every friday I could chill with friends and in a way thats what kept me going . It was very fun .
Since I moved life became more boring …more lonely . Sure I have friends at school but I gotta take it a step further .

I really want to focus on making this goal happen. I miss having people over and the fun. I’ve decided to try and plan out some evenings and invite the neighbors over for a cocktail hour and maybe even grill on the bbq. I’m going to try and invite different people over at least once a month.

I adopted a more specific goal that is similar to this…and this is just taking up space on my 43things. I still don’t invite people over as much as I like to, but I am going to continue this goal. I’m just going to check it off because I have invited more people over more often, and that was my intention. :)

this year is to invited people over at least once a month. It won’t have to be anything big or planned, but it would be nice to just have a get together to enjoy friends. I am also going to sit down and try to plan some themed parties.

Friday night, my best friend came over and we watched a movie and played a board game ahaha. Then last night, I had her over again with my friend Jordan…we didn’t do much…we just chatted for four and a half hours…but that’s what I love about having them over. We don’t even need any entertainment :)

I went for a run with my best friend and she came over to hang out for a little while afterwards. I’m getting more comfortable with her at my house now. :)

A few weekends ago I had a couple friends stay over for the whole night. It was a lot of fun. I’ve come to realize that where you hang out or what your place looks like really doesn’t matter that much because sometimes people don’t pay much attention. All that matters is the people you care about. If you have a place to get together, you can have just as much fun as you would anywhere else.

Plus, it helps that we’ve been making a lot of improvements around the house lately and people have been saying that it’s “cozy.” That could just be a nice way of saying cluttered but whatever. :)

And then last week I had another friend come over, but she was only here half an hour before she had to leave again. :-\

Then last weekend I had ANOTHER friend stay for a little while before we had to go somewhere.

That’s four different friends in two weeks!!
I’ve decided I like having company over now. I hope I can keep this going…

I’ve invited some long time friends and their boys to come over for a BBQ. My girls should have fun with their kids and it will be good to catch up with my friends. It’s been way too long since I’ve had anyone over to the house. I miss the conversation and good times. Hopefully the hubby will be home to enjoy it too.

My best friend came over again the other day and we had a lot of fun! This is the second consecutive week in a row…I hope to keep it up. I’m always always always going to her house and before…she never went to mine. Now I’m going to hers less and she’s been to mine more. So I feel better about it :)
