Today I will...

Its a warm but wet Sunday which is going to preclude me from my usual Sunday afternoon activities. While its cloudy and we have had a couple of heavy showers its nothing like they are getting a couple of hours drive to the North.

and maybe do some housework. Maybe. It’s one of those days. =0)

Today is cloudy but warm, there are blue skies to the south and I suspect the sun will burn off the remaining high cloud and it will turn into a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Plans for today, I don’t have any! let me think.

1. walk the dog
2. pick up my work cloths from the laundrette
3. go buy some tickets in the Saturday morning fisherman’s club meat raffle
4. wash the work ute
5. go have a few beers and a couple of bets
6. read listen to some new music
7. have an early dinner and an early night

fix some things around the house

give myself a break from job hunting (Friday’s supposed to be a bad day for that, anyway)

throw away some of the enormous pile of plaster and bathroom tile that is STILL sitting in our backyard (we keep it classy)

sand down our kitchen cabinets (so they can be painted) with the lovely hand sander that my sister was so nice to lend me

And try to send some sort of positive, reciprocal energy to all the folks I’ve sent resumes to, so they’ll call me for an interview!!!

I’ll also probably just not do anything after I get home other than relax. It’s Friday, after all. Maybe tomorrow I’ll figure out what to get done on the weekend.

Will strive to accomplish ‘all’ the task on my to-do list!

Monday may have been warm but Tuesday was a scorching 39 degrees, Wednesday, Thursday turned cool. Today is s a cool and rainy Friday.

I travelled home from ‘up the valley’ late yesterday. Its been a tough week at work, most of it spent working not supervising, not that I mind its toughening me up and I’ve actually lost weight.

plans for today, not a great day in fact I plan to spend the whole weekend relaxing. I’m hoping to have Saturday off this week.

1. grab another cup of coffee
2. read the papers
3. walk the dog (if the rain stops, I don’t have to keep an eye out for the weather to change he will come and get me)
4. buy some fish for dinner
5. open last weeks mail, sort out the bills, my tax and my workers compensation and public liability insurance
6. do last weeks invoicing
7. reorder the songs on my iPod play list
8. check my finances and maybe buy a new motherboard, processor and ram to replace the computer that blew up, I need a computer with a serial card to run a terminal client
9. go have a late afternoon beer with the Friday afternoon crowd
10. have a nice dinner with a bottle of wine
11. read and sleep

and get the towels dry. That way I won’t have to worry about having clean ones this weekend.

I need to write to a few people, too. My dad and my friend, Mar and my granddaughter (who I never hear from up there).
