    Worth doing!

I lived in Bergen, Norway for four years. Some say that this city has 300 days of rain a year, and you know what? I think they might be right. It’s always rainy, windy and cloudy. I love that place, and I’m sure I’ll move back some day.
For some reason I’ve always been more attracted to the cold northern countries than the warm, sunny countries in the south. I’d rather go skiing in Canada than sunbathing in southern Spain… And I’d much rather live in Seattle than in Tenerife

It's the rain that makes things so green!  — 8 months ago

    Worth doing!

Living in the Pacific Northwest, I have learned to love all things cold, cloudy, rainy, wet and green—even the slugs! While I do love the warm sun when it does appear (we call them ‘sun breaks’ out here) I don’t think I’d trade it for anything else. Besides, it keeps most of the poisonous creepy crawlies away!

I’ve always wanted to do this, i currentely live in the UK which has it’s fair share of rain – but also heatwaves which i dont like as i have to stay in all day to avoid sunburn ( as i burn even sometimes when it’s raining or snowing!) I want to go to Edinburgh uni then sometime in the future move to Seattle or Canada to fulfil my rainy needs.
