How I did it: First I got a good excuse to get a visa to get into the USA. Then I organised a trip. Then I let Flirt know I was coming to visit her in Kansas. I dropped heavy hints that I would really like to eat some freshly-baked snickerdoodles. Then I went to Kansas, and stayed at her house, and stayed until she baked me some snickerdoodles. I'll stay another day and see if she'll bake me some more.
Lessons & tips: Don't be shy to ask.

We got some droolicious delicious brownied cookies!
Matty ate most of them. But only because I didn’t realise what he was up to. He’s now angling for more.

arrived in the mail yesterday! Flirt makes excellent pumpkin bread (how about two loaves next time?). She also sent several items that I was not permitted to share and were for my new roomie. Well worth it!

I tripped over the box then a killed myself on the way out my door to go pick up my kids! LOL!
I have my Mailman ( yes he is male) UPS guy Myron trained( the Fed Ex guy with the toupee not so much) not to wake me up during the day.
I opened the box ate the one slightly broken one (did you know that cookie manufactures package the cookies, so that some will break, because those are the ones that the moms will eat LOL! ADD boy would cry if his cookie would break like it felt pain, it was so sweet, annoying but sweet)anyway I passed the bag back to the kids and barely got it back in time to save some for my hubby! I found out tonight that ADD boy pulled the ‘eat my snack as lunch because I don’t want to stand in the long pizza line’ ARG!

But there seems to be somebody missing from this goal who has received both an invitation AND their gift. And perhaps they should make note that if they don’t adopt the goal I’ll probably never send them any snickerdoodles homemade gifts again!!!
