i like everyone! that’s my problem…
haha.
How I did it: There was a girl that I have two classes with this year, who is my superior on staff, and i nor anyone else could stand her. Turns out we were assigned some group work, we got to talking and we have some pretty interesting things in common. She's not so bad after all.
Lessons & tips: Stay open minded, & get to know people before you decide not to like them.

tdc1978 thinking about my future
It took a lot of patience and swallowing my pride, listening, forgetting the past and not passing judgment, but it was really worth it, me and this person have become really good friends and have learned a lot from one another.
It leads to better understanding of yourself and the person that you don’t like.
Leads to better communication even if you still don’t like them after connecting.
but when you can see the humanity in someone, it’s much easier to be their friend. They have insecurities, traumas, joys, mothers, siblings, pets—just like you.
I’ve heard that it is important to accept everyone the way they are, and I have yet to be that tolerant. If I was to befriend someone I don’t like it’d be a huge step, really.
There will always be someone you dont like, just like there will always be people that dont like you. One way ore another the ice will eventually be broken so why not melt it? Its easier to be nice and make an effort to make it less awkward between you. Hard to do, but once you do it the pressure to ignore the person you dislike is gone.
