I really need to dust off my composition chops. It’s been a few years since I’ve really scored anything out. I don’t believe finale or anything of the sort is even on my computer anymore.
With this goal, I really just want be part of some filmed work regardless of the format. I’d perfer to do my own scoring if I ever film any of my projects, but honestly, I don’t know at this point how confident I am with my screenwriting.
..I WANT TO BUILD A MULTI MILION DOLLAR PRODUCTION CORPORATION WITH GLOBAL TIES. ABLE TO FINANCE INDEPENDENT MOVIE VENTURES, PURCHASE SCRIPTS, SCORE MAJOR MOTION PICTURES, WITH THE HELP OF A AWARD WINNING COMPOSERS AND MUSIC PRODUCERS. ABLE TO TRAVEL AROUND THE GLOBE AND INFLUENCE THE MEDIA CULTURE AND MAKE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS CREATING A GLOBAL ENTERPRISE…..’’ a million plus is all we discuss’‘
... but I would really love to score a major motion picture or a widely distributed television project with enough length to have various themes and moods.
It’s potentially getting easier to do this with technology. Back in the late 80s/early 90s, scoring any project was a Herculean effort. Now with software tools like ProTools, Finale, and even Final Cut Pro(w/ Soundtrack), even relative novices can crank out professional sounding scores.
