higher my self-esteem

today, in class, a girl i just met because we’re in a class together, told me that she liked my hair the way i have it dyed darker and cut and that she thought i was pretty.. I did not know what to say really. I’ve always thought that girls look at me and are like ew. she’s ugly blah blah blah. but not today. That def made me feel so good about myself and heightened my self-esteem a little :)

Always putting myself down,
thinking the next girl is
prettier than I’ll ever be.
Shes got everything I dont.
That way of thinking is just
bringing me down. It def needs
to be changed. So I’m trying
to think more positively and
looking at myself in a diff. way.
Everyday, I look in the mirror,
and tell myself, “I’m beautiful,
no matter what anybody says.”
