I’m tired of wasting spending time on so-called latest “bestselllers.” Please, they bore me to death. I can predict the ending half way through the book, and all the characters are the same. They’re all good looking (men are buff and women are slender with long legs), successful, smart beyond anyone’s expectations, and at one point or another going to have great sex (three to four times that night, mind you). I’ve picked up everything from a novel to a so-called thriller. Boring! If it’s not all of the elements above, it’s one or another. I’ve just started to read “The Lord of the Rings.” I have seen all of the movies. I also read “The Phantom of the Opera.” I’ve never seen the broadway show, but I really liked the movie and have the soundtrack as well. I didn’t post a lot of books that I have read here because I see no point in doing so.

I also bought Fairies 101 from Doreen Virtue. I saw several pretty interesting books, but they will have to wait. I’m bad about getting all excited and getting ahead of myself, and ending up with a pile of books that I don’t have time to read. I think I’ll take summer one off so I can read them, and I also hope to spend more time with my little brother. I told him that we’ll go to museum one of these times, maybe even go to a zoo. He’s a very interesting little boy. :):):)

It’s a great book, full of wisdom. I’ve only read the first two chapters, but I like to take time on something like this. There’s a lot to think about. I also like to make notes as I go along. I’ll make time to read more of it during my break. :)

I liked it for the most part. The whole thing is not that much of a secret. The great teachers said the same thing. This is just another way of putting it. I didn’t like the way the lady kept plugging “the secret” in. I GET THE POINT, now move onto something else. By that, I mean the points or whatever you want to call them. Some of the parts of it I really loved. I’ll give it a three and a half star rating on a five star rating scale, maybe a four. It did have many excellent points afterall

It was great! I really like Barron’s style of writing. It’s consistent and exciting. Although he likes to get into too much detail here and there, I’ve gotten used to it. I can’t wait to read the other three but not right now. I have to focus on a lot of things. For now, I’m kind of tired of reading. I need to spend more time outside, with the nature, whenever I can. I need a different kind of connection or escape, if you must.

I don’t know if I’ll be reading about Merlin or the secret first. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
