work for a publishing company

by starting a publishing company. It really has been a dream for a long time, and I’m enjoying it immensely. I currently publish online at http://gratemusic.com and http://LDSmusic.us, but I am also interested in working with print media eventually.

I worked as assistent copy-editor and proofreader for an academic publishing house. The publications were boring and overall it sucked, but I got enough experience to work free-lance to more interesting publishing houses afterwards, preparing literary translations and proofreading comic books.

I enjoyed it but the pay wasn’t great. The publishing industry is like none other; During this decade of my life I was an editorial assitant, then marketing manager and finally an educational sales rep.
