Between the money I have at my home in VA and LA, I think I have about $55-$60. But that’s counting quarters, and I generally use my quarters for laundry and making copies. A little at a time…

With so much information on the internet and in libraries only way you have to spend that much on books are for required subjects.
As an undergrad I was taking upto 7 classes a symester and the books are really expensive. At that time didn’t realize I could get my books used from sites like half.com etc.
So I did spend that much in a day (bled to do it as I was working 3 jobs to pay for college).
Knowing what I know now and with so much information on the internet I hope I never have to go through that again.
I’ll gladly help you avoid this goal :).
I think the money I have in my jar at home and my jar here in my dorm add up to about $16. That’s almost a whole hardback! lol
My quarters and dimes are saved for doing laundry and making copies, but my nickels and pennies get put in my coin jar. It sure is slow going.
My coin jar probably has about four dollars in it! But that’s fine by me, I can wait for my big spending spree, especially since I don’t have a place of my own to store my library. :(
I’m going to get a jar and set aside my loose change and one dollar bills, and whenever it gets full, take it to the bank and have the money converted to larger bills, and keep doing this until I have $500 for a major book spree!
