but with useful trees in it like hornbeam & hazel that you can coppice, and mulberries and apples, pears and underplant it with crops in a forest garden sort of way

We support the Woodland Trust and have donated approx £240 this year – at £10 per tree that’s 24 so far.
Over the last 5 years, I guess that I have donated towards 100 trees – add the 60 for our wedding and it totals 160. Only 940 to go!

I read that it takes 1100 x trees per hectare to constitute healthy woodland. I wonder how long it will take me to manage this? I might need some help.
