but important self-care. I need some new orthotics!
How I did it: A referral from my primary care...found a time....a young woman is actually helping me with phone calls these days and this really helped because the hold for the podiatrist was very long....could see why when I got there, she spends a lot of time with patients. She was excellent and I feel like I understand my foot problems better too...not too exciting to hear, maybe, but very comfortable to feel!

the doctor. It went okay and I guess I won’t see the podiatrist – at least not yet. The Doc said it was nothing.
So, for the time, I’m gonna mark this as done.
:-)
make an appointment with the main (money hungry) doctor. Set for Thursday (quick hun?) at 1:45 pm. Should be a lot of fun.
My main (idiot) docotor wants me to come in to their office so that they can rob the insurance company first then send me to the other doctor. I’m tempted to just go pay for the visit at the podiatrist myself, but then what if I have to have follow-up’s…
What a crock and a waste of time!
I hate HMOs. I’m trying to get my regular (idiot) doctor to give the slip saying I can go see a specialist and it’s like pulling teeth! Everyone wants their piece of the pie. I have to go see him so he can say that I can go see the other one.
And they wonder why health care is out of control. Just my opinion.
