    he's trying 3 years ago

unlike so many 4 year olds…he has a hard time playing at the park. he is brave when he approaches other kids to ask them to play, the other day he asked a kid his name, but the little boy wouldn’t tell him. then that child’s parents suddenly said “Let’s go to the YMCA”...they has just arrived and now they leave???

my son wanted to play with them…i think he was disappointed that the little boy wouldn’t even acknowledge him. he walked over to where i was sitting and just wanted to sit with me.

i want him to go exploring, i just don’t know how to motivate him to do it.

we went to red lobster 3 years ago

and i made him try snow crab legs…

maybe i shouldn’t have made him, but it’s good he try new foods…and it didn’t kill him….he needs to open his mind, he’s 4!!!

I left this one as my last goal to write an entry for, I wonder why? Of course I want our son to be happy, healthy and all that good stuff…but more than anything I don’t want him to be afraid to try new things. I know fear has stopped me from doing a lot of stuff and who knows what kind of things I could be great at that I’m just too afraid to try.

So, even if it means he’s jumping from planes and swimming with sharks (granted, he’s only 2.5yrs. old so hopefully these won’t happen too soon), as long as he wants to try new things, I’m going to do my very best to support and encourage him.
