earn more money

(in my line of work,you get used to haggling with clients now and then.still,lately way too many of them are doing that.now that’s really depressing —specially when you don’t want but still need money)

i got a second job and a raise at my first one, i think it’s working :)

i am giving myself until february 2010 (4 months from today) to be earning an extra £1200 a month, i am going to use this money to get a bigger 4 bedroom house, one with an office!!

I got a new babysitting job! Pays around 10 euro a hour which is great and should be around twice a month.

Got offered a photo editing job that I am considering taking :)

Have around 400 cash saved up at the minute :)

I’m not babysitting anymore, it just kind of fizzled out. I am starting college soon, so I may not have the time to get a job. May have to put off this goal for a while?

I take the definition of employed on a casual basis to the max. In the first job, I get emailed a list of shifts and I commit to them depending on my timetable, which is almost never. In the second job, I literally only cover for people if they’re sick or away, or whatever, i.e. no regular shifts. Fortunately for me, this month coming up is an absolute gold mine for me. Two people are going away, one after the other, so I’ve got regular Thursday shifts for the next month, plus two half days. And I’m actually lucky it’s going to be six weeks in a row because I covered last Thursday as well as two days ago, which were completely unexpected (the coming month had been planned like 3 weeks in advance).

Can’t wait to see all that money rolling in! I estimate about $600 by the end of this period :D

(good news:i got rid of an annoying client that thought i was his therapist or something.
bad news:he won’t be paying me anymore…okay,he wasn’t paying me much to begin with,but i still need cash.
been thinking seriously about getting an agent —anyone out there willing to represent me ?)

(...and in the end,yesterday I sold some of my CDs.didn’t get much money though,but it should help for the moment…whatever…)

Ok so I spent €500 on a laptop…

(update:money is still not coming as it should…in fact i’ve just found out that the budget at the radio station has been cut.wondering if i should start selling my CDs…)
