My fiancee was born in Taiwan, and most of his family does not speak English. He told me that I’d have better luck finding a Chinese language program than a Taiwanese one, and that once I had the basics down he could teach me the proper dialect. I speak Japanese, but so far Chinese is proving an interesting challenge!

I want to communicate with other people arround me. It has been now more than 2 years since i came to China for my boyfriend and i still can’t speak more than just a few chinese words. This is such big opportunity for me to study and practise chinese, but until today i always used excuses why i couldn’t study chinese. It’s time to build my life and be more independet. Do something and be active.

hi to all I want to speak or study the chinese languages and I want to learn their culture
I really want to learn this language so that I can surprise the crap out of people when I start talking to them fluently. I also just love the sound of it.
indyelmo0902 is done for the semester!!
but it would be really awesome to be fluent… well as fluent as i can having not grown up speaking that language! it makes me so happy and there is something about writing out the characters that just makes me at peace with myself and everything around me.
