Yahoo!! I can drive my bike again. Felt like a real schmuck for letting my learners expire. Although the test was late (An Hour!!), the certificate guy was sleeping and had to be woken up to complete them and I saw an old lady beating a security guard with a handbag… ( Dont know, dont want to know ) this was worth it. Now I can just go collect my bike when the service is done! Vroom, vroom!!!
It only took 17 phone calls and the help of a very good friend to complete this goal halfway. The test is next week Wednesday so here’s hoping all goes well. Man, I will be ticked if I fail this stupid test :)
After phoning for couple of days…got my appointment for 18 January at 7:45 am…now I just need to go there and confirm the booking, do the eye test and pay…and of course, study to write the test….AT LAST!
Also tried calling the GPG Call Centre…NOTHING! Not even Rayton or Bronkhorstspruit…Man this sucks! Why can’t they just phone you back when they do have empty spots??
Tried again. In the whole province there is not one available space to write my exam. I find that very hard to believe, but at least the operator was really friendly. I cannot even imagine how it must be for people who have no license for either car or bike. No wonder we have so many people driving around illegally!
Phoned once again to try and make an appointment but to no avail. I shall make it my mission in life to phone them at least four times a day until I can get an appointment. Can you believe in the whole of Gauteng there is no space available to undertake the test. Terrible!!!
