I have lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks…looks like this goal will be achieved.

I lost 15lbs on the Dr. B diet. 2 years ago

I would like to lose another 8 but it is time to have a dieting rest and go back to training. I am still eating well and training every day but the super strict keto dieting is too hard when I am training every day. I will take a training rest for 2 weeks in January and keto diet again for the last 8 pounds. I do feel like a million dollars though….
it was totally worth the suffering…

Chances are 2 years ago

any extra weight will drop off because the last thing I want to do is eat anything. I thought I ate when I was sad…nope I eat when I am stressed. But I haven’t had an appetite since Thursday evening…

At this rate I will be back in my smaller clothes in no time. ;)

Success and the Impasse

Most people who decide to engage in healthy living eventually hit a point in the process where their desire to continue is truly tested. I call this the impasse. Technically, this is the point where external support and motivation are no longer effective and true self-support and internal motivation have yet to be achieved. You simply don’t feel like you have what it takes to continue and this is the point where many throw in the proverbial weight loss towel.

However, the impasse is a very important intersection on Wellness Highway. For it is at the impasse that the fork in the road finally shows itself. This is the point where most people give up and fail. This is also the point where you can get stronger than you ever imagined and finally find the success you dream about. As frustrating as this is for most, reaching the impasse is truly the moment of truth.

For those who fail, the impasse is a wall that they just can’t seem to negotiate. It presents a dead end street that sends them kicking and screaming back to old behaviors and beliefs that continue to widen the gap between who they are and who they want to be. For those who succeed, however, the impasse is a star gate to another world. It represents the portal by which one passes through to get to the other side. If negotiated successfully, this is where you significantly close the gap between who you are and who you want to be.

The difference between those who succeed and those who fail to survive the impasse is very simple. If you give up, you fail! If you stay the course and press on, you succeed. If you find yourself at this juncture today, choose wisely. Today’s decision is tomorrow’s reality!

Wishing You Great Health,

Down 5 pounds~ 2 years ago

Just drinking more water. May not be a good sign for the long term but it sure looks great on the scale! :)

Water as a diet~ 2 years ago

The news last night had a piece about a Water Diet where people actually lost 30-40 pounds in a couple of months doing nothing more than drinking 3 8-oz glasses of water with each meal – one before, one during and one after.

I’m horrible with diets but this sounds easy enough and worth a try.
