Move to Maui

I went to maui 2 times and everytime I went I always met people there that just came on vacation and never went back, so after having my life fall totally apart. I want to live My life my way. So if anyone has any help to make this dream come true, please all the help is wanted.

me and my best friend are trying to move to maui at the end of march- we are looking for roomates and a job.

1 day to decide I wanted to go and then bought my ticket, do it!

i am a chef, so i know i’ll be able to find work, i’m moving w/ a friend, fo that’ll help defray costs, and i believe it’s where i’m supposed to be, so i’ll figure out a way to make it happen. I am interested in the local food movement, and organic farming, so i’d like to work on a farm at least part time. i am also thinking about opening up a food cart. any suggestions as to where i might set up?

My Husband was offered a job in Maui, We currently live in Florida. Have lived on Oahu before and know the cost of moving. That was 10 yrs ago and need help finding the best and cheapest way to get our things there. I know about shipping the cars, but can anyone suggest a good mover and their experience with one.Also anyone’s experience with shipping a pet to Maui. I have a small dog and would die if I had to put him in Quarentine for any length of time.Any feed back would be great. Thanks

Hey I am trying to move to Maui and needing advice on finding place to rent. I heard they do not like renting to mainland people and needing advice best area and protocol to renting and finding work. I am going there June and hoping to not come back. Please help:)

I am leaving Detroit for Maui next week. Have a job already, the rest will fall in line in time. Have committed to one year site unseen for this job. Nothing left in Michigan. What better place to start over, than paradise! God’s hand at work in my life again. Time to start listening again. Have three months to decide whether or not my wife and I can make it there financially.

Well, I almost made it back to maui for the spring of 07. But now it looks like it will have to wait until after 08, dammit!!! Why can’t a load of cash just fall into my lap. Might hurt a bit but would be worth crushed nuts for it.
