    I'm not trying hard enough 10 months ago

    Instead of going to bed to sleep I go to bed and read. That is not going to help me get into a better sleeping routine.

    I'm still putting my head on the pillow before midnight 22 months ago

    Sometimes I still have problems sleeping, I won’t read after 11:30 pm now. This morning I was awake since about 6:30 am but I didn’t get out of bed till 7:45 am. Still getting out of bed at that time is better than 8:30 am.

    8:30 am is now my average wake-up time 2 years ago

    Sometimes I get up earlier, now I rarely get up later. I still don’t put down my books (or computer) at night until between 12 and 1 am. Though now there are more nights when I do turn out the light before 12am. If I go to bed at or just before 12am I make an effort not to pick up a book and read now so I am doing better at going to sleep earlier.

    I’d still like to have an earlier average wake-up and get out of bed time (often I wake up earlier but stay in bed). I must work on my motivation in the mornings.

    And I really need to wake up early during the hot dry weather so I can get more work done out doors – before the sun heats the day up (mid summer here right now).
    Bed before 10pm would be a good idea – but 12am-1am – still up and unable to sleep.
