Find some great Cheap ways to hang out with friends

We had a BBQ, which was awesome, and everytime someone suggests going out, I’m suggesting DVD night and dinner at ours. If they get the DVD and we get dinner, the night works our cheap, and fun!! It doesnt cost that much more to stretch our dinner, whatever it is, and we can see a DVD!!

My friends came round the other night and we just sat and played monopoly, which was awesome…as well as just chilling out.

You catch up with people better that way anyway…

Now we’re paying off the house, trying to save, paying bills etc, we have to conserve money. The problem: I love going out and drinking and dancing with my friends. that costs money, big time.

Coming up to Christmas, alot of my friends who i miss terribly will be coming home, and usually the way to all get together is to meet at a pub, drink, and go out.

We, of course, cant do that. I cant go to the movies, cant go shopping, basically all of the things i love to do with friends. So my aim is to find lots of cheap stuff to do with friends thats still fun. BYO picnics, dvd nights etc. Fun, but cheap.

Mostly its no alchohol for us, coz thats the biggest cost of all…
