How to go to America

How I did it: well i have family over there who i hadn't seen for about 9 years, so that was the primary reason why i went. the journey took forever! it was the longest plane ride i'd ever had about 9 and a half hours. (i was flying into atlanta) i spent a few days in atlanta with some family friends and then when to see my family in florida. it was the best holiday i've ever had and i can't wait to go back! Lessons & tips: careful about how much you eat the portions are huge! and (depends where abouts your going) watch what you say, there are many sensitive subjects over there. |

I want to see this gawjuss city! And hopefully this summer, I will. God knows how! I need to save. It’ll cost around £800 if I’m lucky, so I guess I need to find a job pretty quickly.
I really want to go and see what America’s like! And by that, I’m mainly talking about the USA. I mean, I’m really interested in like Canada and Mid- and South-America too, but the place I want to go most is – obviously – New York, since I’d heard so much about it already, and I just really want to see it for myself. Also, if I see it and like it, I might actually consider going and living there. If I’ll be learning to be a doctor; do foreign doctors have good chances of finding a job there?
is all I can say :)
It took so long to persuade my mother into agreeing with making this dream reality, and then she finally said yes. We had already found joy in this trip half a year ago. (by preparing and stuff) Even now I’m still happy and it will forever change me (as does every other event I must admit, but still, this was kind of special).
And now the impossible task of reporting the month long journey..
I’m just not going to do it! :P
A few things I’ll say before I hop into bed:
America is all I thought it to be and more. All my prejudice about America turned out to be truth! (as far as generalisations go)

My Goal is to go to America for two weeks in November. Therefore I’ve already booked a flight, but I don’t have a hotel and detailed plans for the trip. So it’s a lot to do until November.
