I went to Camp Mason in New Jersey last summer for 4 whole weeks and had the best time of my life. I made loads of new friends, tried so many new things, and I even went to New York! I can’t wait to go back next Summer! 2 months ago

I am going to the HBO podcast in LA, so pumped, and thanks to the Internet, I have JIMMY FALLON tickets. Have 5 months to figure out how to meet him.

I’m in two complete minds about the trip now, when I look at the people that choose America for their holidays, it’s always shallow, vacuous people that think that the shopping is amazing. I want to go to NYC to see why it inspires so many and to see the most documented city arts has, see why people from all over the world who could live anywhere choose to live in New York, despite the many famous flaws.

Then the people who have been there and loved it start talking. Then I feel awful for wanting to go. Like somehow it makes me shallow or something.

I really wanted to go to see SNL. Just found out its almost impossible to get tickets – from their website;
To enter the Saturday Night Live ticket lottery for the upcoming 2012-2013 season send an email in the month of August only to snltickets@nbcuni.com. Please include all contact information and do not request a specific date. If you are selected, you will receive two tickets to a random show date and time. You may only send one email per household and all audience members must be at least 16 years of age. Please note that entering the lottery does not guarantee tickets, and you will only be notified in the event that you are chosen.

Stand-by tickets are distributed at 7am on the 49th st. side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the mornings of the show. You may choose a stand-by ticket for either the 8pm dress rehearsal or the 11:30pm live broadcast. Aside from minimal, necessary breaks, all stand-by line members must remain in line at all times. Stand-by tickets are limited to one per person and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Every member of the line is required to present a valid photo ID when the ticket is issued, as well as at the return time. Please note that all tickets are non-transferrable and non-exchangeable. NBC staff reserves the right to revoke or not issue any ticket to anyone in line if proper procedures are not followed. Please arrive no later than 7:15pm for the dress rehearsal or 10:45pm for the live show. A stand-by ticket does not guarantee admission and no one under the age of 16 will be admitted.

I’m so excited about this, but I forgot to add it to my goals. We have it booked for October!! We already have some stuff booked for LA to do with a charity I help with, and once thats over, it’s NEW YORK!! My husband has been once, but only for a few days, it’s going to be amazing. I’ve never been anywhere so saving for this trip is easy, it’s a dream come true! We have to save A LOT to make this amazing, but it’s not hard to save when you are excited about what you are saving for!! 4 months ago
