Willow Beach – Not exactly in Nevada. Actually on the Arizona side, but a trip is a trip. Had to drive across Hoover Dam so close enough.

I have not been fishing since my Guidant T180 (pacemaker) was put in. I really miss going. Instead my friend and I took a day trip to the lake just to look around. Everything has changed. Due to the drought, lake levels have dropped significantly. Marinas have closed and moved to other parts of the lake. My secret spot is all mud, dried up. And it is beyond my comprehension as why they would put a fishing dock next to where PWC’s gather. It was a disappointing trip.
Why bother traveling around to see and do things when there are a lot of fun things to see and do in one’s own area? It allows one to do more on less money as you don’t have to pay for travel and hotel expenses because its so close to home.
I know I gave up on getting a fishing boat, but I still want one bad. In order to appease the hunger, I took some of the family to the Bass Pro Shop. Took pictures, sat by the aquariums, walked around, looked at the pontoons again and generally made it a family event. What I enjoyed about one of the aquariums, is that it was stocked with species that are in the different waters in the state. The buffet at the Silverton was muy delicioso. Of course, I had fish.
