get a job as a professor

I’ve been asked to co-teach an intro to special ed class at my university (not the one where I applied, but the one I am attending). I’m excited b/c it will give me the collegiate teaching experience I need. :-)

I applied recently for a professor’s job at the local college. (Actually, it’s the place where I recieved my BA degree). I’m not exactly qualified yet… I won’t finish my PhD until the Spring of 2009, but how many of my professors there were Dr’s? Not many… I’m getting weary of teaching in the public schools, and I think it’s time for a change.
