get my learner's permit

i was technically able to get my permit in late April, but my mom kept delaying taking me to the DMV because she hates going there. Finally we set a date in late June, I think it was 2 days after school got out. I took a few practice tests online on the DMV site (I live in Virginia) and they were really easy, so I thought getting my permit would be a snap. When I got there, we waited for a really long time, then finally I was able to go to a computer and take the test. The 10 sign questions you have to get 100% on was easy… but the basic knowledge ended up being really hard! I almost passed, but I missed just one more question than I needed to past the test (you have to get 80% or higher)

About a month later I convinced my mom to let me go again. I studied as hard as I possibly could. I mean I studied really, REALLY hard. I read the entire DMV manual, took the practice DMV tests until I had every question they offered memorized, and then googled practice virginia DMV permit tests online and took/studied those. Throughout this entire process, I copied and pasted questions I got wrong on a Word document. When it was time to go, I printed it out so I could study it in the car.

When we got there, just my luck, the computers were broken. And without the computers, I couldn’t take the test. I was so upset that I started crying in the car.

A week later, we went back again. I just knew something else would prevent me from passing this test. I didn’t have the drive to study anymore. But what would you know, that day I not only took the test, but I passed it with flying colors. I didn’t even take the entire test because they stopped me once I had gotten a certain amount of questions right that were needed to pass the test. I wasn’t really ecstatic… more like relieved. :)

well im new at this, And i desparately need my drivers permit. Im so tired of public transportation i dont kno what to do!

i done stayed this book like 2 times and i dont think in ready.my moms gonna take me tomorrow 542009 and i dont think ill pass it.

Im 15, been 15 for about 4 months now. The legal age to get your learners in New Zealand. Lols.

Well anyways there’ve been saying there gonna put the age up, but they havent done it yet, well at least not that i know of. (Maybe they have, not sure) So i need to get my learners as soon as possible just in case.

I was surpose to get it agers ago but been too lazy to learn the rode code. I know it’s not hard, the test. But i want/need to read the whole thing so that i can pass otherwise i would waste like 70/80 ?? bucks on a test to fail which is stupid right!! Lols.

So i need some motivation!
Give me some comments on what i can look forward too when i get it or give me some cheers, whatever. Help me to get motivated to learn the road code before it’s too late!!!! Lols.

I have 2 weeks Max! I shall get it by the end of these school holidays!

P.S – I have read the first chapter and some other stuff just soo you know lols.

i WANt My pERMit SO bAdd

It’s going to be done on my 18th so then I can get my Ps when I’m a year older and not forget.

i am almost 16 well ill be 16 in may and i really want my permit but i cant get a ride to get it because we live about an hour away from the dmv place so is there anyway to get one online??

VERy iMPORtANt tHAt i GEt My PERMitt ASAP!

I had always kind of been afraid of driving, but I wanted to take the permit exam anyway so I could get started with this rite of passage. In February of ‘08, I took the permit test twice and failed twice. I was discouraged and put it off until now. I’m about to turn sixteen, so it’s almost a year after I could have gotten my permit, but I have made the appointment to take the exam tomorrow afternoon. I am freaking out inside and studying like crazy! I really hope I pass.
