How to get my learner's permit"It was great! I passed and missed only two questions!"
How I did it: I signed up for DriversEd online. I used the promo code "17MAG" to save some money. My state doesn't count it as "real" drivers ed, but that was okay because I wasn't doing it to fulfill their requirements. I did it because a lot of my friends and cousins failed and I didn't want to fail, too. After a completed the course, I read through the handbook I got from the MVD twice a day until I could answer all the practice questions in the back. Then I picked a day and went for it. Lessons & tips: Use the code "17MAG" to save money (30%, I think...) Resources: DriversEd.com |

How I did it: I studied for like a week by reading the manual online and taking the practice quizzes. I also paid more attention to my mom and friends' driving when I rode with them. The test was actually really easy once I read the book lol. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Studied for the test on the drive to the DMV, and a few days prior to that. Took the test and just went with one question as a time. making sure it was correct, or at least made sense. I was worried about the vision test, but that was a piece of cake. Read how I did it…

How I did it: It was absolutely amazing. All I did was sign up for the Driver's Ed class. When I got in there, they provided the book to study, and within less than a week they had us start taking the tests. Within less than two weeks, I got my waiver to get my permit. They don't mess around! But the teacher and I had a few... disagreements; he was a jerk! Read how I did it…

How I did it: I studied like crazy, both from the Florida Driver's Handbook and online, as well as taking an online Driver's Ed course. I was so incredibly nervous! I only missed two out of forty questions. My picture is hideous, but it's okay because I am so happy. I feel accomplished and ready to drive! My dad let me drive a bit on the way home and I loved it. How I did it: I failed the first time round shortly after my 16th birthday. I didn't quite understand Give Way but now I do. Also I rushed the exam and underestimated just how challenging it would be. Monday the 17th November, I went and got my Ls or Learners Permit. I took my time with the test since there isn't a time limit and triple checked my answers. I had a problem with one question and the woman didn't count it when she marked and I got all the… Read how I did it…

Im 15, been 15 for about 4 months now. The legal age to get your learners in New Zealand. Lols.
Well anyways there’ve been saying there gonna put the age up, but they havent done it yet, well at least not that i know of. (Maybe they have, not sure) So i need to get my learners as soon as possible just in case.
I was surpose to get it agers ago but been too lazy to learn the rode code. I know it’s not hard, the test. But i want/need to read the whole thing so that i can pass otherwise i would waste like 70/80 ?? bucks on a test to fail which is stupid right!! Lols.
So i need some motivation!
Give me some comments on what i can look forward too when i get it or give me some cheers, whatever. Help me to get motivated to learn the road code before it’s too late!!!! Lols.
I have 2 weeks Max! I shall get it by the end of these school holidays!
P.S – I have read the first chapter and some other stuff just soo you know lols.

I had always kind of been afraid of driving, but I wanted to take the permit exam anyway so I could get started with this rite of passage. In February of ‘08, I took the permit test twice and failed twice. I was discouraged and put it off until now. I’m about to turn sixteen, so it’s almost a year after I could have gotten my permit, but I have made the appointment to take the exam tomorrow afternoon. I am freaking out inside and studying like crazy! I really hope I pass.
imabstract just joined! gimme cheers, i'll return the favor =)
i failed the learners test TWICEEE. i feel like an idiot. i dont want to take it again because i don’t want to fail it again! im already sixteen uggh =/
