How to become a Regular Pioneer by jazzmaniac

"Pioneering is a privilege and a joy every Witness should endeavor to experience."

How I did it: 1. I made friends with all the pioneers, but particularly those who are of my age group (college-age) who have similar circumstances.

2. I prayed to Jehovah and did research about others who have pioneered for years.
3. I increased my time months in advance to get acclimated to more field service.

Lessons & tips:

  1. Pray to Jehovah every day
  2. When you go out, go out.  Make it an all day thing if you can.
  3. Letter writing, street corner witnessing and witnessing informally is an important part of your time.
  4. Don't get discouraged if your circumstances change. 
  5. Pace yourself. Get enough sleep, eat right, get exercise so you can do your job more effectively.
  6. Ask for support if you need it.  
  7. Increase your personal study.

    One of the brothers (not an elder but a servant who just came back from MTS) saw my schedule and said it was “very good”. I’m excited and I hope the elders believe that it’s good too so I can get to it :)

    Quite a blessing from Jehovah 2 years ago

    I just started pioneering as of September, my first year. I don’t find it easy because it requires scheduling but nevertheless, because I’m still young, it brings me so much of delightfulness serving Jehovah up to the fullest as possible as I could. That is my number one responsibility for Jehovah till He decides it’s time to stop.
