How I did it: I told myself I was going to FINALLY use my Dental Insurance that I still had through my old job. Well, After going to about 5 dentist I finally found one who told me he could do it in 6 months (all the others said 1-2 years! and wanted 4-5K). I got the express invisalign so thats why it was so quick. (Not sure if thats what its actually called). Its painful but sooo worth it. My teeth are perfect and I have never been happier or so confident. Read how I did it…
jennifer is a cheesy romantic <3.
How I did it: i went to three different orthodontists until i found one i liked. he is really nice, his name is neal murphy. i had to have surgery done on my gums too, so i have stitches all over my gums :[ then the braces put on .. all in one sitting, so i am extremly sore. but no worries! i am drugged up exactly how i am suppose to be :] so it's not that bad. it sucks because i had to take like 5 days off from work, but at least i finally h… Read how I did it…
How I did it: My experience was not as awful as some. I did not need to pull any teeth nor did i have rubber bands attached during my time. Although metal wires can be a bit unattractive, definitely worth the time. Braces straighten teeth like magic! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Overal I'm definately glad I got braces put on. (it's crazy how a bit of metal can be so expensive). Sadly it made me less confident, and I really thought I wouldn't mind braces - they just look so nerdy on me. Funny thing is, I see a lot of people with braces on and I think that they look fine. As for me, I think I look pretty lame lol. O well. Im glad I did it, and I know im going to be super glad with the results. Remember - the s… Read how I did it…
MsSerene is building her life list again after nearly 2 years.
How I did it: Well from the age of 12 I realized that I "needed" to get braces. Unfortunately my parents never had dental coverage which meant as I child I never had dental coverage. Paying out of pocket was also not an option. A few years ago after I graduated college and landed my first real job with dental benefits, I started doing research and discovered a new procedure for 6 month traditional clear braces. The majority of the expenses… Read how I did it…

Lizzie1819 is pretty darn stressed
I hate my teeth, as far as teeth go they are not the worse, they are white, all a good even size and shape and quite pretty apart from the fact I have a big over bite that I am so ashamed of that I never really smile or I force it or hide it in some pose or another and have very low self esteem about my mouth. I am 20 and getting my brace this christmas, I couldn’t get one when I was younger for various traumatic dentist experiences and am worried and excited for what is going to change my life.
I can’t wait. I should have my braces on sometime next month. It’s going to cost $6,000 and I will have them on for 2 to 2.5 years O_O. But it will be worth it in the end.

i need them soooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tamsin is hoping.
Saw the dentist today and he says my teeth are fine, so on with treatment – hooray! My teeth look so much better =)
i guess i’ve started this list of things, well i don’t know why but it seems sort of fun. i want to get braces because my teeth look jacked-up. my parents may not have enough money for them. but i guess i can live without them.
Tamsin is hoping.
...And my top teeth are nearly done. There’s a complication, however, with one of my bottom teeth, which has meant I’ve had the wire removed for now. There are always possible complications, but other than the pain I didn’t expect any, so I’m a little disappointed. One of my teeth has darkened slightly, and my orthodontist can’t tell why, so I have a referral to see a specialist. Let’s hope it works out okay.
Other than this blip in my treatment, getting the braces was a total no-brainer. Yes, they’re expensive, yes you get crap stuck in them and yes it hurts after tightening. But having beautiful teeth is something I’ve always dreamed of… So it has to be worth it =)
I was om 43things 6months ago and I finally made an apointment and got an extraction today…braces going on next appointment…Iv realised there is no point talking about it…JUST DO IT!! you wouldhave them on and off while your thinking about it!!
