get the piano music sheet for Coldplay's Trouble and play it well

Didn’t spend much time on this today. But I learnt the sheets and made notes. I normally write down the keys coz I’m so rusty reading the notes. The chords are pretty simple, so I should get this done soon. Plus I’m improvising, not really following the sheet too strictly..

I haven’t had time to sit down and practice this sheet. Shame on me! Hopefully, tonight I’ll get around to this.

The nice people at Musicnotes wrote me saying that they’ve had to verify my credit card information before my purchase can be finalized. Apparently this was due to past cases involving fraudulent credit cards originating from my country. Nways, I managed to pay and download it without further problems. So now, to make time for practice, practice and more practice!

Credit card in hand, I was ready to get my grubby hands on the piano sheet. But I was denied by the ghastly error that was..

“There was a problem during the verification process of your order. Please contact us.”

I’ve sent them a quick email, hope this gets resolved soon. Sigh.. to be thwarted by technology is always the pits..

..today! So I’m gonna splurge on the “Trouble” piano sheet today and get cracking later this evening (it’s only USD5, but it’s a self-treat nways). :D

I didn’t make it to the fancy bookstore, so I browsed the online sites which sold digital piano sheets. Found one which was really good from musicnotes.com, which came with a nifty music player especially useful for folks like me who plays by ear. The sheet for Trouble costs around USD5, OK I guess. Thought of buying the whole book (containing the entire piano sheets for the album Parachutes), but I figured, I might as well learn one song at a time. If it’s especially useful, I don’t mind buying the next one in full. Would love to learn “Scientist” and “Clocks”, but not until I’m done with “Trouble” first.

..and since then I’ve been dying to play this song on my piano. I’m heading to KLCC tomorrow for a pow-wow with two of my dearest (but also busiest!) friends. Might drop by Kino and see if they still have the piano book I saw last time. I tried looking for the piano sheet on the Internet, but no luck yet. I just hope the piano book won’t cost a bomb, else I may have to subscribe to an online site and purchase the sheet individually.
