ldrydenb is keen to see what 2009 brings
Umm.
I guess I was expecting a little more? There were about ten stalls, with sweets (not that keen), fish (do not want!) and meat (I’m vegetarian). I’d hoped for local cheeses, fruit & vegetables but, short of a few potatoes & leeks, there were none.
On a brighter note, there was a very entrepreneurial young man (maybe 8 or 9 years old) with a range of freshly made soups and other meals. I bought some apple & mint chutney as a starter and it is very nice. I know what I’m having for lunch!

eattheseasons.co.uk is my resource for what’s in season (covers North America as well as the British Isles).
I signed up for the weekly email. I’m vegetarian but the site isn’t: it’s still a little disturbing to get an email entitled “eat Rabbit”!
There’s a Farmers’ Market this weekend: it will be interesting to see what they have to offer.
Missa Is enjoying her maternity leave. I'm greatful for every day I have.
because the food prices are going so hig because of transportation costs.
